California trip day 5

We got off late morning and headed to Woodland Hills CA to visit Aunt Neetsie and cousins David and Natalie.  It was about an hour drive or do on the 405 to the 101 past LAX which always has traffic apparently no matter the time of day.  Driving along the coastal highways Miles spotted several orca swimming in the ocean.  He is such an animal guy...nothing gets past him.
Aunt Neetsie of course had a full 'Jewish mama' spread for us including bagels and lux, yummy Jewish cookies (not sure what they are), and kugle and egg souffle! She made us a fancy jello dish too.  It was all so sweet.  We laughed.  Told stories.  Played.  Put together a puzzle (well we tried to).  Enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.  We say every time we are together, "why don't we do this more often?"  We ended up staying until 10:30pm and the kids didn't want to go.  They have been so happy to just hang out with the older folks.  Miles even said that if the trip ended after seeing family that would have been a great trip.  I agree.  Of course....he didn't know we were going to Disneyland yet.
