California Trip day 2

We hung out with cousin Andy and Family! They made us a splendid pancake breakfast.  Then took us to the church's historic Mormon Battalion area! We learned all about God's hand in helping his saints afford to be able to make the trek west as well as the impact the 500 approx soldiers made to the overall development of the west including trains and gold rush etc... we even had a relative on the Richards side in the battalion!

Andy took us to his favorite taco joint and it was fantastic!

We went to LA Jolla beach! Gorgeous.  The boys love boogie boarding and spent hours riding the waves.

On the way back to Andy and Sheri's, we stopped by the breathtaking San Diego Temple  It was amazing.  Ella saw several "princesses" wearing beautiful white dresses and followed them around.  There is a good chance she may have photo bombed a few of the brides pictures.  One of the princesses stopped and talked to her because she was so persistent and they took a picture together.  What better role models for our precious angel than God's princesses dressed in modest white dresses marrying in His house!
We all were a little tired later that evening so we ordered in Chinese and the boys played nerf gun war!

The Zmoleks were so hospitable.  We warned them that we will be back often when things in AZ really heat up!
