Cousin Austin Olson returns home from his Mission!

What an incredible experience. We just got back from the airport seeing a tired but very tan young man come back from his TWO year mission in Johannesburg South Africa! He had been traveling for 2 days (I think he said the total travel time was 36 hours?) and he flew 14,000 miles! Everyone was so exited to welcome him home. We all couldn't take our eyes off the escalator in the airport waiting for him to come down the stairs. His little sisters made a really big banner for him that said "Welcome Home". It was so fun to be a part of that reunion. Austin said he didn't really even feel like he had been gone. Although his siblings have changed alot - he didn't seem too freaked out by it. He did say that Lexie seemed to have changed the most of all the kids. And Tracia said, now seeing Austin next to his brothers, he doesn't seem as tall (since Hunter and Tanner have grown so much). Austin did some of his clicking noises for us and was just as sweet as can be!

Welcome Home Austin. We love you!

PS (Disclaimer) - Hunter does not normally wear make up - he had just gotten done with his opening night of "Joseph and the ....coat".

In attendance:
Olson Family (Proud Parents Scott & Tracia; Siblings - Tanner, Hunter, Lexie & Tessa)
Friends Lauren and Angie
Cousins Leah and baby Ella
Friend from the ward Isaac
Missionary friend from St Louis - Lisa
